Freshfields/ASIL – Young Arbitrator Debate Series

Freshfields and the American Society of International Law (ASIL) invite you to the next installment of our Young Arbitrator Debate Series – co-sponsored by the ASIL Howard M. Holtzmann Research Center for the Study of International Arbitration and Conciliation.

At this event, speakers will debate the following motion: "This House believes that dissenting opinions in arbitration do more harm than good."

The debate will be moderated by Freshfields' International Arbitration Senior Associate Pedro Ramírez and will include Iulia Padeanu Mellon (Senior Associate - Foley Hoag LLP, Washington DC) and Isabella F. Uría (Senior Associate - Arnold & Porter LLP, Washington DC) as the debaters.

The debate will be preceded by introductory remarks by International Arbitration Partner Caroline Richard and followed by a networking reception.
