At this conference organized by the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), the international division of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), and the Center for Arbitration and Conciliation of the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá (CAC-CCB),  international arbitration and mediation experts will explore the latest developments, innovation, and conflict- management options for today’s complex global commercial transactions.

Freshfields’ International Arbitration Partner Caroline Richard will be speaking on a panel titled “The ICSID Report – Recent Developments at ICSID and Updates on Investments Arbitration” taking place on October 19,2023 at 2:30 pm COT.  

The panel will discuss recent developments at ICSID, as well as the trends and the future of investment arbitration and how the process has evolved considering shifts in policy, public perceptions and efforts to balance investor protection with sovereignty and public interest.
