The Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024  came into force on 1 January 2025, marking a significant shift in the UK’s regulatory framework for digital markets, competition, and consumer protection.  This toolkit sets out key points to consider now that the legislation is largely operational, and ahead of the remaining provisions coming into force (such as those relating to subscription contracts in autumn 2026).
