Luna Van Lent

Luna recently joined Freshfields as a Consultant in the EU Regulatory & Public Affairs team. She supports clients across the digital and financial services sectors, as well as on competition law and sustainability matters.

Prior to joining Freshfields, Luna was a trainee at the European Parliament, where she worked on the European Democracy Shield (EUDS) initiative, focusing on the implementation of the Digital Services Act (DSA). This experience gave her first-hand exposure to the EU legislative process and the evolving regulatory landscape for digital platforms.

Luna holds a specialisation in European Law with a focus on competition law, completed across the University of Edinburgh and Stockholm University.

She has a particular interest in digital regulation, online platforms, artificial intelligence and competition law.
