Camille is a Senior Associate in our international arbitration and public international law practices, based in London.
Her practice focuses on international commercial arbitration, investment arbitration, and public international law. Camille has represented and advised a wide range of clients—including sovereign States and private entities—across diverse sectors such as construction, mining, and energy. She has acted under major arbitral rules including ICC, UNCITRAL, DIAC, ICSID, and LCIA.
Camille is qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales, an Avocat à la Cour in Paris, and is admitted to practice in New York. She is fluent in French and English. Prior to relocating to London, Camille worked in Freshfields’ Dubai and Paris offices.
Public international law and investor-State disputes
Camille has represented and advised:
- Gabon in proceedings before the International Court of Justice in the Land and Maritime Delimitation and Sovereignty over Islands case.
- A Gulf State on the creation of an international organisation.
- A Gulf State on public international law matters as part of its legal panel.
- States on the implications of sea-level rise for statehood, maritime boundaries, and related issues.
- Victims of widespread human rights violations committed by the Republic of Chad during the Hissène Habré regime (1982–1990), in proceedings before the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights, in collaboration with REDRESS and Chadian counsel.
- Egyptian investors in an ICSID arbitration against Kuwait concerning a real estate development project.
- A UAE investor in an ICSID arbitration against a Middle Eastern State regarding a gas concession.
- A UK investor in an UNCITRAL arbitration concerning taxation measures imposed by an Asian State.

Camille has represented and advised:
- An international energy company in an LCIA arbitration against an African State over a tax dispute.
- An international healthcare company in an ICC arbitration against a European State arising from a hospital concession contract.
- A European energy company in an ICC arbitration concerning the termination of an EPC contract governed by Belgian law, for a power plant project in Europe.
- An international inter-governmental organisation in UNCITRAL arbitrations related to contracts for the provision of goods and services.
- A UAE subcontractor in an ICC arbitration against the main contractor under a Swiss law-governed contract for the extension of an oil and gas facility in the UAE.
- A Dubai-incorporated company in a DIAC arbitration involving contract claims under a mixed-use development agreement in Dubai.
- A US-headquartered multinational in a DIFC-LCIA arbitration seated in London, involving contract, tort, and competition law claims related to distribution agreements in the Middle East.
- A multinational oil company on potential claims under an EPCM contract for the construction of an oil and gas facility in Kazakhstan.
- A European energy company on potential liability following the failure of an infrastructure project in Asia.
