Joseph is an Associate in our international arbitration group, based in Washington, DC.
Joseph is trained in common and civil law and specializes in international law and arbitration. His practice focuses on disputes in Europe and Latin America and he has acted in arbitrations in English and Spanish. He has advised clients in arbitration proceedings under ICC, LCIA and ICSID rules concerning disputes across a variety of sectors including oil and gas, electricity, infrastructure, mining and sports.
Joseph is a graduate of the McGill University Faculty of Law, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the McGill Law Journal.
Joseph speaks English, Spanish and French.

- Representing Smurfit Holdings in an ICSID arbitration against Venezuela arising from the expropriation of its investments.
