Tinny is a senior associate in our Antitrust, Competition and Trade practice, based in Washington, DC. He advises and represents multinational clients in high-stakes commercial and antitrust matters, including litigation, investigations, and regulatory proceedings before courts and competition authorities worldwide.
Prior to joining Freshfields, Tinny worked at another global law firm where he advised clients on antitrust and national security matters, including merger control, antitrust litigation, and foreign investment reviews before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).

Tinny's experience includes advising:
- Google on high-profile antitrust litigation relating to its advertising technology business, including litigation brought by the U.S. Department of Justice, state attorneys general, and class and direct action plaintiffs, as well as related litigation and regulatory proceedings worldwide.
- A multinational telecommunications company in connection with a U.S. Department of Justice antitrust investigation and related grand jury proceedings.
- MTN Group in defending claims under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
