Filippo is an associate in the Global Transactions group in our Milan office. He specializes in banking and finance and financial services.
Filippo regularly advises domestic and international sponsors, investors, banks and alternative lenders on a variety of deals, including leveraged acquisitions, corporate and acquisition finance, securitizations, refinancings and debt capital markets transactions. He also advises financial institutions, banks, payment providers and market infrastructure on strategic issues affecting their business.
Of Italian mother tongue, Filippo also speaks fluent English and French.

- AUTO1 Group on a new non-recourse asset-backed securitisation (ABS) structure financing for AUTO1 - the first ABS financing with used cars as underlying assets - as well as on the increase to a financing commitment of EUR 1bn
- International private equity firm Cinven on its agreement to make a majority investment in Objectway, a leading provider of software and services to financial institutions across Europe, North America and the Middle East
- UPS on its acquisition of Bomi Group, a multinational healthcare logistics provider, from ArchiMed and management sellers (including the current CEO) following an auction process in early 2022
- A leading international financial investor company in a complex securitization transaction involving the purchase by the Italian securitisation SPV named DeMedici SPV S.r.l. and the sale by AMCO S.p.A. of a portfolio of loans qualified as performing, non-performing, unlikely to pay and past due, with a gross book value of EUR 600m
- On the integration of the Credit Suisse Business into UBS AG following the successful merger of UBS Group AG and Credit Suisse Group AG on in 2023
- PayPal on the sale of its buy now, pay later loan receivables in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom to KKR
- Client in the financing for the acquisition of the stake of CBM Mechanics, a company specialized in the industrial assembly of mechanical, electrotechnical and electrical engineering components
- Grünenthal on the EUR 500m acquisition financing of the testosterone business from Bayer, as well as on the fundamental realignment of its debt structure in a total amount of EUR 1.6bn
- Sandaya SA, a portfolio company of InfraVia, an independent European private equity leader in infrastructure and technology investments, on the acquisition of a portfolio of five campsites, the so called ‘glampings’ owned by PGIM, located in central and northern Italy, also with a view to upscaling them
- Phoenix Tower International, a portfolio company of Blackstone, on EUR 1.2bn global refinancing of its operations in Europe
- Green Arrow Capital SGR S.p.A in relation to real estate financing for the acquisition and refurbishment of a residential property in Milan
- OCM Opps Xb ITA Investment (Castello) S.a.r.l on the sale of its controlled shareholding in Castello SGR S.p.A.
