Julius is a corporate associate in our Global M&A and Capital practice in Vienna.
He advises national and international clients on Austrian and German corporate law, with a focus on private M&A, carve-outs, corporate reorganisations and general corporate governance. He advises both corporate clients and financial sponsors.
He regularly works on complex cross-border matters, including global carve-outs and spin-offs spanning multiple jurisdictions. He brings a strong commercial understanding to his work and helps clients navigate legally complex, multi-faceted situations.
Julius combines his legal expertise with a strong understanding of technology, leveraging AI and other legal tech solutions to deliver efficient, high-quality advice on complex transactions.

- Advising an Austrian start-up on various corporate law matters in preparation of its floatation on the Vienna stock exchange's MTF.
- Advising a major European bank on the acquisition of a merchant contracts business from a global financial services provider.
- Advising a multinational industrial company on corporate governance matters in relation to harmonising its post-closing corporate governance framework.
- Advising an industrial conglomerate, inter alia, on the worldwide carve-out and spin-off of its healthcare business, the newly formed Solventum, involving more than 90 jurisdictions and over 20,000 employees worldwide, on the structuring and implementation of the global separation from a corporate, tax, regulatory, employment, pensions and commercial/contractual perspective.
- Advising TRATON on the carve-out of the TRATON Group R&D function in Germany, Sweden and the US.
- Advising a pharmaceutical company on the spin-off of the global generics business.
- Advising a leading global professional services firm on the acquisition of a German-headquartered IT consulting firm.
