Louiza Eleni Papadopoulou

Louiza Eleni is an associate in our antitrust, competition and trade group, based in the Brussels office. 

Her practice covers all aspects of EU competition law, including merger control, state aid and antitrust compliance. Since joining Freshfields, Louiza's experience has covered EU and global merger control, including a Phase II merger control investigation by the European Commission. 

Prior to joining Freshfields, Louiza worked in the EU competition law practice of another international law firm in Brussels and completed a traineeship at the Court of Justice of the European Union.

In addition to her native Greek, Louiza is fluent in English and has a working knowledge of French.
