Sarah is an associate in our antitrust, competition and trade group, based in the London office.
Sarah advises clients on all aspects of EU and UK competition law matters, including cartel and behavioural investigations, merger control and foreign investment reviews, market investigations, competition appeals, and compliance and distribution strategies.
Sarah has experience working with clients across a wide range of sectors, with a particular focus on the technology, media and telecoms sector.
During her time at Freshfields, Sarah completed a six-month secondment at a global technology company, gaining valuable in-house experience.

- Meta on its defence against the European Commission’s abuse of dominance investigation into Facebook Marketplace.
- Meta on its ongoing compliance with the EU’s landmark Digital Markets Act.
- Meta on the successful closure of the UK Competition and Markets Authority’s abuse of dominance investigation into Facebook Marketplace with novel data use commitments.
- Saint-Gobain in relation to the merger control and foreign direct investment aspects of its acquisition of Fosroc.
- Adobe on the UK merger control aspects of its attempted acquisition of Figma, including the in-depth Phase 2 review by the CMA.
- CVC (and E-Traveli) in relation to the EU merger control aspects of its proposed sale to Booking.com.
- A global investment firm on national security and investment considerations and preparing filings on numerous transactions, including a call-in notice issued under the National Security and Investment Act 2021.
