Théodora is an Associate in our Brussels office and a member of the corporate team. Théodora focuses on real estate related and environmental aspects of a transaction.
She advises national and international investors, real estate developers, financial institutions, and REITs on all aspects of real estate matters. She has experience in real estate transactions, with a particular focus on acquisitions of companies operating in real estate (offices, commercial properties, semi-industrial properties, nursing homes, and residential projects). She also has experience in lease-back transactions and development of real estate. Théodora advises Belgian and foreign investors or lenders on environmental and urban planning aspects of a transaction, including the obtaining/renewal of permits and issues relating to the waste, soil contamination, and Environmental Impact Assessments.
Théodora is fluent in French, Dutch, English, and Romanian.
- A global investment group on the disposal of its 19.5% stake in Fluxys to Switzerland-based Energy Infrastructure Partners, and a consortium of Belgian institutional investors comprising of Ethias, AG Insurance and SFPI-FPIM;
- Fluvius on the €1.56bn capital increase with Flemish public investment company ParticipatieMaatschappij Vlaanderen (PMV);
- Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board (OTPP) on the sale of its stake (i) in Brussels Airport to Flemish public investment company ParticipatieMaatschappij Vlaanderen (PMV), and (ii) in three UK airports (Birmingham, Bristol and London City) to Macquarie Asset Management (MAM);
- Xior Student Housing on its acquisition of a €939m portfolio of Purpose Built Student Accommodation assets developed and operated by BaseCamp;
- Merck KGaA on the acquisition of the chromatography business of JSR Life Sciences;
- IPM Group, BF Capital Malta and Mr. Alexis Murphy in the sale of the betFIRST group to Betsson.
