Aamina is an associate in Freshfields’ dispute resolution practice based in Washington, DC.
Prior to Freshfields, Aamina gained experience as a judicial intern for the Honorable Michael S. Nachmanoff in the Eastern District of Virginia, where she drafted bench memoranda and performed case analyses. Aamina’s prior research work focused on privacy rights and regulations, with a particular emphasis on children’s online privacy. She also served as a research assistant for the Project for Informed Reform, where she investigated cold cases.
Aamina received her J.D. from the University of Virgina School of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Virginia Environmental Law Journal. She graduated cum laude from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a B.A. in psychology.
