Her concise delivery of sharp legal analysis makes her an effective advocate for clients in any setting and a go-to captain of legal challenges requiring global coordination.
Janet’s dual experience in the US and EU is a significant asset in steering complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions. With insights on enforcement practices in key jurisdictions, she has successfully led merging parties to deal clearance, from preliminary risk analyses through Phase II and second request investigations, including negotiations of remedies.
Her practice spans a range of industry sectors, with substantial experience in telecommunications, media and technology, in particular. Major tech clients have trusted Janet to guide them through cutting-edge legal issues affecting their core business.
Prior to joining Freshfields, Janet completed a federal court clerkship in the Eastern District of Louisiana and practiced competition law with another international law firm in New York.
