Innokenty specialises in cross-border corporate and commercial transactions and infrastructure projects, with a focus on Eastern Europe and Central Asia, and is part of the firm’s Global M&A and Capital Markets practice.
Innokenty brings more than three decades of experience advising major transport, logistics, power and mining companies, and clients from other industries, on key M&A deals, complex procurement and supply arrangements, financings and capital markets transactions, as well as on corporate, regulatory and compliance matters more generally. This includes assisting large multinational groups in relation to joint ventures, 'greenfield' projects and various divestment schemes.
Furthermore, Innokenty has been leading our team on a number of groundbreaking projects spanning road, rail, airport, seaport, utilities and social infrastructure, acting for a variety of parties: governments, project sponsors and financiers. In addition, he contributed to the development of relevant legal frameworks and served on several specialized expert councils.
For an extended period, Innokenty headed the firm's Corporate / Global Transactions practice in Russia and our infrastructure and transport group in the CIS region, overseeing, in particular, work with clients operating in the public sector. Among others, the rail industry has been one of the especially prominent areas of involvement.
Innokenty also provides strategic advice in relation to disputes and has been involved in several international commercial arbitrations and litigations.
