A corporate specialist based in our Frankfurt office, Igor is a global transactions group partner.
Igor advises in cross-border corporate transactions and projects, including M&A and JVs, as well as on regulatory and compliance matters more generally, with a particular focus on CIS and Eastern Europe. His extensive track record covers a range of industry sectors from energy and natural resources, chemicals, transport and infrastructure to telecommunications, retail and online businesses.
With more than 30 years’ corporate experience, Igor provides key strategic insight and pragmatic solutions to our clients on all aspects of complex cross-border deals and has built a reputation in the industry as ‘an extremely helpful, reliable and significantly experienced lawyer’ “with a solid track record in a broad range of transactional instructions”.
Igor also has been involved in several international M&A arbitrations and litigations.
Having trained in our office in Frankfurt and Hamburg, and with a leading US firm in New York, Igor went on to hold the position of managing partner in our former Russian office for a number of years.
Igor is qualified in England & Wales, and Russia.
He speaks English, German and Russian.
