Jeff is a senior associate in our MENA Global M&A and Capital practice.  

His practice encompasses advising financial institutions and large corporates in financing transactions, with an emphasis on event-driven financings and special situations, from complex cross-border restructuring & insolvency matters to project financings, Islamic financings and corporate acquisitions & leveraged financings.

  • A regional sovereign wealth fund on a series of widely syndicated financings amounting to c.US$5bn.
  • An ad hoc creditor group, comprising a regional credit fund and international DFIs, in relation to the debt restructuring of an Egyptian petrochemicals business.
  • Financiers and hedge providers in connection with the provision of conventional and Islamic finance facilities totalling c. US$1.5bn to assist with the development of Hafeet Rail, a transformative cross-border transport project in the GCC.
  • A syndicate of regional and internal lenders on a secured capital call facility of US$2.2 billion to an Abu Dhabi’s investment fund focused on artificial intelligence technologies.
