About
Loïck is an associate in our Brussels office and a member of the Global Transactions team, focusing on corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, and corporate advice. He assists Belgian and international clients on a range of corporate transactions and governance matters, with experience in cross-border mergers, asset deals, and general corporate advisory work. He provides pro bono advisory support to some of the world’s largest non-profit organizations.
Loïck obtained his Bachelor’s degree in law at the ULB (Université Libre de Bruxelles), where he also completed a Bachelor's degree in political science and a Master’s degree in economic law, graduating magna cum laude in 2023. He joined the Brussels Bar and Freshfields the same year. In 2024–2025 he completed an LL.M. at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), further deepening his expertise in international corporate and financial law.

- RELX on the acquisition by its LexisNexis Legal & Professional division of Henchman, a Belgian legal tech start-up which enriches data from document management systems (DMSs) for faster document drafting;
- CVC DIF, the infrastructure strategy of leading global private markets manager CVC, on the acquisition of CTC Moyson Airport Equipment from the Moyson family;
- a Belgian listed company on its compliance with reporting requirements;
- a leading US-based global chemicals group on the sale of part of its business to a major Asia‑based chemical manufacturer; and
- many Belgian listed companies on key financial law, corporate law, corporate governance and market abuse matters and developments.
