Justin Chen

Justin is a senior associate in our antitrust, competition and trade group, based in the London office.

Justin’s practice covers all aspects of EU and UK competition law, including merger control and foreign investment, cartel / behavioural matters and market/sectoral investigations.

Justin has experience advising clients across a wide range of industries, with a particular focus on life sciences, industrials and media/technology sectors. 

During his time at Freshfields, Justin has spent time on secondment as competition counsel at a global pharmaceutical company.  Prior to joining Freshfields, Justin spent several years at a leading Australian law firm, advising clients on competition and consumer law matters.
