- Advised WE Soda on the financing aspects of their $1.425bn acquisition of Genesis Alkali (the largest US-based producer of natural soda ash)
- Advised Boldyn Networks on a $1.2bn debt financing, consisting of senior secured credit facilities and fixed rate notes, for the refinancing of existing facilities and the financing of the company’s expansion in the US.
- Advised the arrangers, global coordinators, bookrunners, lenders, agent, onshore and offshore security agent, and hedge counterparties on the financing for the acquisition by Actis of a newly carved-out tower portfolio from Telekom Srbija, a leading telecommunications operator in the CEE region
- Advised Boldyn Networks PNE Holdings UK Ltd (a majority owned portfolio company of CPPIB) in relation to its growth facilities, including to fund ongoing capital expenditure requirements in relation to its Transport for London concession to provide digital infrastructure solutions on The London Underground.
- Represented HPS Investments Partners as Agent and Lender on a $125 million financing of the development and operation by Flatiron Energy (Borrower) of a portfolio of battery energy storage projects located across the United States.
- Advised the lender and the agent on a holdco financing for Energy Infrastructure Partners relating to its stake in the French renewables arm of Boralex, a Canadian power company.
- Acting for the lenders on a refinancing for Phoenix Energy, the largest gas distributor in Northern Ireland.
- Advising Ciner Glass and Kew Soda (WE Soda group companies) in relation to a corporate restructure and a refinancing / recapitalisation facility to support its operations in Turkey
- Advised a major Italian bank on a multi-jurisdictional senior portfolio refinancing of several windfarm projects across Scotland and England which included submission of a mandatory notification under the NSIA 2021
- Advised Borderlink Broadband Limited on raising a c£164 million investment from funds controlled by Gresham House Plc, including the completion of pre-investment share capital restructuring and managing existing shareholder interests
- Acted for a German commercial bank on a series of project finance novations of school and hospital projects across Scotland
