Kelly Bridges

Kelly is an Associate in Freshfields’ New York office with experience in private funds and secondaries, leveraged finance, capital markets, and environment, social and governance matters. She also maintains a pro bono practice, which includes working with incarcerated women on an array of family law issues with the VOLS Incarcerated Mothers Law Project.

Prior to Freshfields, Kelly worked as a Roger E. Koontz Fellow in Law and Climate Policy with the Acadia Center. She also served as a consultant for The END Fund—a private philanthropic initiative dedicated to ending neglected tropical diseases—to support their policy efforts, and was a Senior Associate at Global Water 2020, where she worked to leverage public and private finance to improve access to safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene services in developing countries.

Kelly earned her J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School, where she remains a Tony Patiño Fellow. She also earned an M.Sc. from the University of Oxford in Water Science, Policy and Management and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in Science, Technology and Society, with a concentration in Energy, Environment and Technology.
