About
Heiner is a member of Freshfields' global transactions practice group and co-head of the consumer and healthcare sector group.
He specialises in corporate and finance law, with a particular focus on M&As, private equity, public takeovers, securities and general corporate law. Heiner is experienced in large transactions for regulated industries.
Previously in China and Hong Kong for five years, where he served as managing partner of the firm’s Shanghai office, Heiner has considerable experience working with both Asian and Western clients on outbound and inbound transactions.
Heiner is a fluent English, French and German speaker, and has conversational Mandarin Chinese.
