Ani Avagyan

Ani is a senior associate in our Silicon Valley office.

Ani represents startups and other emerging growth companies at all stages of their lifecycles, advising them on corporate formation and structuring, corporate governance and investor relations, debt and equity financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions and securities law compliance. In addition, Ani represents venture capital firms and a range of other investors, including private equity firms, strategic investors and sovereign wealth funds, across the technology and life sciences sectors. Ani has handled dozens of venture capital financings and M&A transactions and serves as a trusted advisor to clients on various day-to-day corporate governance matters.

Prior to joining Freshfields, Ani was an associate at other leading law firms where she also represented emerging growth companies, venture capital firms and growth equity investors. While in law school, Ani was a member of the Kirkland & Ellis Corporate Lab, a transactional-focused clinic, working on cutting edge projects for multinational companies.
