About
Mathilde is an associate in our international arbitration group and global projects disputes practice based in Paris. She advises clients in commercial and construction arbitration proceedings, with a focus on the infrastructure and energy sectors.
Mathilde is a French-qualified lawyer and is a member of the Paris Bar. She holds a dual degree in English and French law from King’s College London and Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, as well as an LL.M. in international law from Cambridge University.
She works in French and English.

Mathilde’s recent experience includes advising:
- A Dutch contractor in an ICC arbitration in relation to the performance of a lump sum turnkey contract for the design, development and construction of an industrial port in North Africa.
- A Swiss contractor in an ICC arbitration against an African State in relation to a public works contract for the rehabilitation of a road in West Africa.
- A UAE-based contractor in an ICC arbitration pertaining to claims exceeding US$ 500 million arising out of a contract for the development of gas fields in North Africa.*
- A French contractor in an ICC arbitration against a Canadian company, in a dispute arising out of more than a hundred contracts relating to three construction projects in West Africa.*
- A Dutch maritime contractor in an ICC arbitration relating to submarine cable burial works.*
- A Norwegian contractor in an ICC arbitration arising out of a consortium agreement and relating to the consortium’s decision not to present a claim to its employer.*
- A major aeronautics group in an ICC arbitration relating to a license agreement.*
