About
Kai is an associate in our Frankfurt office and a member of our global transactions team.
He advises a wide range of clients, including airlines, lessors, debt and equity financiers, and manufacturers, in particular on asset financing in the aviation sector and cross-border leasing transactions. He also has experience in advising lenders on (green) project finance and cross-border financing transactions. He is fluent in German and English.
He is admitted to practise as a Rechtsanwalt (Germany) and as a solicitor (England and Wales).

- Advising the Irish liquidators of Russian transport leasing company GTLK in relation to the termination and settlement of aircraft lease arrangements and aircraft sales
- Advising a German airline on a variety of aviation-related financing transactions, such as portfolio refinancings, leasing and sub-leasing transactions and operator changes
- Advising a company in relation to the sale, purchase and financing related security swap in respect of multiple aircraft
