Rikki’s practice covers all aspects of UK and EU competition law, including merger control and foreign investment reviews, antitrust investigations and market inquiries.
As a member of the firm's global tech practice, Rikki has significant experience advising a broad range of tech and digital platform businesses, including on issues with significant implications for their strategic objectives and commercial strategies. He also has a keen focus on the telecoms, financial services, retail and consumer products sectors.
Rikki helps clients to devise and execute successful cross-border commercial strategies across different regulatory environments, including on the intersection of competition, data privacy and consumer protection law. He regularly provides strategic advice to corporate clients and financial investors on high-profile and complex transactions.
His extensive experience before the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and European Commission, including his time on secondment in the CMA’s mergers unit, enables him to formulate arguments that play well with decision makers and to approach cases with practical insights.
