About
Benjamin is a member of both our Data & Technology and our Commercial, IP & IT practices. He advises national and international companies on technology and data regulation – in particular the EU digital strategy, data protection and IT and cyber security law – as well as on the IP/IT aspects of transactions and commercial arrangements.
His practice combines regulatory, transactional and commercial work. On the regulatory side, he provides strategic and operational advice on key EU digital and cyber security legislation, including the AI Act, Digital Markets Act, Digital Services Act, Data Act, Cyber Resilience Act and NIS2 Directive. On the transactional and commercial side, he advises on the IP/IT aspects of M&A transactions and carve-outs and on complex commercial and technology contracts, including SaaS and other cloud services arrangements, platform and marketplace agreements, software and licensing contracts, IT outsourcings and other technology-driven projects.
Benjamin’s technical background enables him to quickly grasp highly complex technical issues and translate them into clear, pragmatic legal solutions. He regularly advises on cross-border matters, covering both non-contentious projects and contentious proceedings. His clients include companies in the automotive, technology, telecommunications and media sectors.
