Freshfields advises TPG on its strategic partnership for Home & Co

Global law firm Freshfields has advised TPG Real Estate Partners on its strategic partnership with Madison International Realty, under which Madison will acquire a significant minority interest in Home & Co, a student housing and micro-living platform.

Under the terms of the agreement, TPG Real Estate Partners will retain majority ownership, and the existing management team will continue to run the platform's investment and operational strategy. The investment will support the platform’s continued growth, including the enhancement of its existing portfolio and further expansion across Germany.

Home & Co is a vertically integrated real estate platform that acquires, manages and operates its own student housing and micro-living portfolio. It operates 19 purpose-built student housing locations across Germany, providing more than 3,500 beds in major university cities including Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich and Stuttgart.
