About

James is a partner in our energy, transportation and infrastructure team and a member of our global transactions group. James is based in our London office.

He has extensive experience in the energy, natural resources and infrastructure sectors, as well as experience in general finance and restructuring work.

James has worked with public sector and private sector (for both lender and sponsor) clients on a variety of mandates in energy (especially energy transition including CCUS, hydrogen, and renewables but with significant experience in power, LNG and oil and gas) and infrastructure on project development and financing, M&A and restructuring.

During his time at Freshfields, James has spent time on secondment at ExxonMobil and ADNOC.
