Melanie is an associate in the Dispute Resolution practice group based in New York. Melanie represents and advises clients across diverse industries and on a range of matters, with a focus on complex commercial litigations in U.S. federal and state courts.
Prior to joining the firm, Melanie clerked for the Honorable Gary Stein of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Before her clerkship, Melanie was a litigation associate at a New York firm where she represented clients in high stakes commercial litigations, arbitrations, and regulatory investigations.
Melanie also contributed significant research and analysis to assist with the publication of the second edition of International Capital Markets: Law and Institutions by Cally Jordan. This textbook provides a comparative analysis of securities regulation across the world and has been used in courses taught at Yale Law School and Melbourne Law School, among others.
Melanie maintains an active pro bono practice, focusing on matters that impact residents of New York City and her local community.
Melanie earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her B.A. from Wheaton College, graduating from both schools with high honors. During law school, Melanie spent a semester in London studying at the Center for Transnational Legal Studies.
