We are advising one of the world’s leading car manufacturers on a project to build a digital platform that connects its customers, suppliers and sales teams with a suite of apps.
Our work is helping to define how the infrastructure works, the contractual frameworks that govern the company’s relationships with the platform’s users and how data is shared between the different parties.
We are also developing legal solutions that enable advanced analytics to be performed on the data the platform generates. This involves tackling a complex set of regulatory challenges, in particular around data protection, telecoms and competition law.
Alongside this we are managing liability risks between the different players and helping the car-maker handle the global launch of the platform via a single set of legal documents.
