Freshfields advises Schön Klinik on €575 million financing
Global law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (‘Freshfields’) has advised Schön Klinik SE (‘Schön Klinik’) on a €575 million syndicated financing. The financing is provided by an international banking syndicate and consists of a term loan and a revolving credit facility.
Schön Klinik Group is one of the leading hospital groups in Germany. Through the syndicated financing, Schön Klinik aims to refinance existing debt together with harmonising the financing structure and creating operational flexibility for future investments.
Freshfields advised Schön Klinik on all legal aspects of the financing.
The team comprised Partner Frank Laudenklos, Counsel Alexander Pospisil and Associates Lucas Lengersdorf, Alexander Bräuer and Benedikt Schwarz (all Finance, Frankfurt). Associates Peter Mason and Akua Danso (both Finance, London) provided support on aspects of English law.
