Freshfields advises KfW on loan for Gazprom Germania

Global law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (‘Freshfields’) has comprehensively advised KfW on a revolving credit line of up to EUR 9,800,000,000 for Gazprom Germania GmbH (GPG; in future operating under the name SEFE Securing Energy for Europe GmbH).

The revolving credit facility is intended to secure gas supplies in Germany in the longer term. GPG operates critical energy infrastructure in Germany and is particularly active in energy trading, gas transport and the operation of gas storage facilities.
