Freshfields advises TRATON on bond issue

Global law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (‘Freshfields’) advised TRATON SE on its recent €500 million bond offering.

The unsecured and non-subordinated bonds have a floating rate linked to the 3-months Euribor and have a 2024 maturity. Prior to this issuance, Freshfields advised TRATON SE on the update of its €12 billion EMTN programme of TRATON SE, TRATON Treasury AB and TRATON Finance Luxembourg S.A. in March 2022. As part of this update, the TRATON Treasury AB was included in the programme as an additional issuer and the programme documentation was adapted to allow for green bond issuances.

The Freshfields core team included Partner Rick van Aerssen and Associate Maren Gebel (both Corporate, Frankfurt).
