Freshfields advises KE Holdings on Hong Kong’s first ever listing by way of introduction of a dual-class, US-listed company with a dual primary listing on HKSE

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (‘Freshfields’) represented KE Holdings Inc. (also known as ‘Beike’) as Hong Kong legal adviser on its dual primary listing of Class A ordinary shares on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (‘HKSE’) by way of introduction. Dealing in the shares commenced today (11 May 2022).

Beike is the leading integrated online and offline platform for housing transactions and services. According to industry research, the company is the largest platform of its type in China and one of the top three commerce platforms across all industry globally. It was first listed on the New York Stock Exchange in August 2020.

The Freshfields team advising on the transaction was led by partners Teresa Ko and David Yi. They were supported by associates Chongming Ma, Frank Fan, Jiangshan Liu and Jonathan Cheung.
