Freshfields appoints Neal Livingston as Global Chief Financial Officer

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (Freshfields) today announces the appointment of Neal Livingston as Global Chief Financial Officer.

Based in London, Neal will lead the firm’s finance division globally and brings particular expertise in managing teams across multiple markets and jurisdictions, having held a range of senior level finance roles over the past 25 years. He joins from Dentons, where he was most recently Global CFO, and a member of the Global Management Committee and Global Board.

Prior to the legal sector, Neal had a long career in banking that included roles at Bank of America, Royal Bank of Scotland, Standard Chartered and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. He also worked as a partner at Andersen Worldwide.
