Freshfields advises N26 on regulatory issues in $9bn Series E funding round

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer advised N26, the mobile direct bank, on its Series E funding round, which raised more than $900m from investors. Investors included New York-based Third Point Ventures and Coatue Management. Additionally, Dragoneer Investment Group and existing investors participated.

With this round of funding, N26 is valued at over $9bn, making it the most valuable FinTech in Germany and among the top 20 globally.

The Freshfields advisory team included partners Alexander Glos and Markus Benzing as well as counsel Holger Hartenfels (all Regulatory).
