Freshfields advises IK Investment Partners on the proposed sale of VPS

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (‘Freshfields’) is advising pan-European private equity firm IK Investment Partners (‘IK’) in connection with its exclusive discussions to sell VPS, a global provider of testing and inspection services, from the IK VII Fund to Fremman Capital.

VPS was founded in 1980 and enables marine, power and renewable clients to optimize their operational performance and comply with environmental regulation. They have a strategic network of offices and laboratories in Rotterdam, Singapore, Houston, Fujairah and Manchester.

Completion of the transaction is subject to legal consultations.

The Freshfields team is being led by principal associate Saloua Ouchan and associate Chris Yarrow, with support from associate Roos Uitdewilligen (all Corporate). Partners Brechje Nollen (People&Reward) and Bob van Kasteren (Tax) are also advising.
