Freshfields promotes three members of its business teams to the role of senior director
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (‘Freshfields’) has promoted three members of its business teams to the role of senior director. These promotions recognise the important contribution that these individuals make to Freshfields and the significant scope and strategic importance of their roles.
Nikki Fitzpatrick, who has been with Freshfields for four years, has been promoted to global transformation director and a senior director. Nikki is responsible for the management of the firm’s investment fund, and she and her team also provide an independent governance structure for all major transformation programmes and projects.
Fiona Gifford has been promoted to senior director for her ongoing role as global head of responsible business, a strategically important function that covers responsible working, making a positive impact on the community, and advising clients on aspects of their responsible business agenda. Fiona, who is also chief of staff to the senior partner, joined the firm in 2002 as an international arbitration lawyer, and has worked in a number of global business services roles based in our Paris and London offices.
Jonathan Tjia, who joined Freshfields in 2018, has been promoted to senior director in his current role as chief operating officer and chief financial officer for Asia. His promotion recognises the work he has led to support the Asia leadership team in implementing and developing the business strategy for the region. Jonathan and his team continue to improve the operational delivery and working capital cycle for Asia.
