M&A specialist Piusha Bose returns to Freshfields

Piusha Bose has re-joined Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (‘Freshfields’) as Counsel and Co-Head of its India Group, and will be based in London.

Piusha specialises in complex cross border private and public mergers and acquisitions. During her career she has advised a number of leading corporations, investment banks and private equity firms.

Piusha first joined Freshfields in 2001 as a trainee and then worked in the firm’s Corporate practice in London and New York. In 2010 she moved to Mumbai where she worked most recently at Platinum Partners. Now returning to London Piusha’s experience in India will strengthen our already robust India group. This involves many partners including Arun Balasubramanian, Sam Newhouse, Lars Meyer and others across all our practice groups and covers core geographies including the US, Europe and Asia.

Julian Pritchard, Freshfields Head of Transactional Practice said:

“We are delighted that Piusha is returning to our team, bringing eighteen years of complex cross border M&A experience, as well as direct experience of India’s corporate legal sector. Piusha will add further depth to the experience Freshfields brings to our clients as we support them on their most important matters.”
