Freshfields wins recognition at ALB Japan Law Awards 2018
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (‘Freshfields’) has been recognised for its work in Japan at the respected ALB Japan Law Awards 2018.Tokyo office managing partner Edward Cole was named ‘Managing Partner of the Year’. In addition, the firm won the following three awards – all three of which it also won at last year’s ALB Japan Law Awards:
• Japan Deal of the Year
• M&A Deal of the Year (Premium)
• Technology, Media and Telecommunications Deal of the Year
The ALB Japan Law Awards exist to celebrate the outstanding contributions of private practice law firms and in-house counsel to Japan’s legal landscape.
