Rebecca Ward is a corporate partner in our global transactions group.

Rebecca undertakes a wide range of international and domestic M&A and corporate finance transactions for private equity houses and corporates.  She advises on all types of transactions, including leveraged buy-outs, acquisitions and disposals, private acquisitions, carve-outs, co-investments and restructurings.

Recent work

Prior to joining Freshfields, Rebecca recently advised:

• Compleat Food Group (portfolio company of PAI Partners) on its acquisition of Wrights Food Group
• PAI Partners on its acquisition of M Group (service provider to the essential infrastructure market in UK/Ireland)
• BC Partners on its acquisition of a co-controlling stake in Advanced Software Group Limited alongside Vista VII (transaction value £2bn)
• ICG on its acquisition of Kee Safety (global provider of protection systems)
• A&M Capital Europe on its acquisition of Pet Network International (an omni-channel pet care retailer in South Eastern Europe (Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia))  
• BC Partners on the sale of a majority stake in Acuris (formerly Mergermarket) to ION Investment Group (transaction value £1.35bn) and the subsequent sale of the remaining stake to ION Investment Group
• BC Partners on aspects of the acquisition of VetPartners
• BC Partners on the sale of a 31% stake in Acuris to GIC
• BC Partners on the exit of its remaining stake in Migros (a Turkish supermarket chain)
• NAVEX Global (US portfolio company of BC Partners) on its acquisition of Expolink Group Limited
