About Akinori Uesugi

Akinori Uesugi is a senior consultant working in the Tokyo office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. He joined Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in July 2006. 

He is a councilor of the Asia Competition Association (ACA). He is the author of numerous books and articles in Japanese and English.

 

Qualifications

He was educated at both the University of Tokyo and the Law School of the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated in 1973 (LLM). 

He is not registered as a bengoshi in Japan.
