About Michael Tagliavini

Based in Rome, Michael is an associate in the Antitrust, Competition and Trade practice group.

Michael assists clients in relation to Italian and EU competition law. He joined the firm in 2024. Prior to joining Freshfields, he worked as an associate for leading international law firms in Rome and London. In 2018, he was a Blue Book Trainee at the European Commission's DG Competition.

Of Italian mother tongue, he speaks English fluently and has some knowledge of French.
