Gisèle's practice is equally divided between international commercial and investor-state arbitration.
She has represented major corporates and states in over 30 disputes, many involving complex and high value claims, under a variety of laws and arbitration rules, in many jurisdictions in Africa, Europe and elsewhere. Her caseload spans a range of industry sectors, including oil and gas, power and utilities, mining, aviation, pharmaceuticals, technology, financial services, telecommunications, food products and international shipping and logistics.
She is listed as a Future Leader in Who’s Who Legal: Arbitration 2018 and 2019 and regularly publishes and speaks on arbitration and international law topics. According to Global Arbitration Review, she "excels in oral advocacy, confidently knowing the key to advocacy: how and when to make the point.”
Gisèle is admitted as a Solicitor-Advocate (England) and an Avocat à la Cour (Paris Bar) and advocates in English and in French. She also speaks fluent Spanish and some German.
