About Altin Sila

Altin is a Senior Associate in our Dispute Resolution practice based in New York.

Altin focuses his practice on global investigations and complex litigation.  He regularly advises multinational corporations and individuals in connection with criminal and civil investigations and enforcement actions by federal and state regulators, internal investigations, and related civil litigation, involving issues such as the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, anti-money laundering regulations, sanctions, and securities fraud.  Altin’s practice also encompasses complex commercial litigation, where he has significant experience representing clients in connection with breach of contract and tort claims in federal and state courts.

Prior to joining Freshfields, Altin worked in the New York and Hong Kong offices of another global law firm.  During several years stationed in Hong Kong, he advised multinational clients in connection with regulatory and internal investigations and litigation strategy involving their operations throughout Asia.

Altin graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he served as a Senior Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. He also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Rudolph Contreras of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
