Eva Schneider is an associate in our global transactions group and specialises in finance law and financial regulation.
Based on her background in law, business and economics, Eva advises clients on a broad range of finance products and finance transactions as well as matters of restructuring and insolvency. She also regularly guides banks, investment firms, payment institutions, asset managers, insurance companies and other regulated entities in all areas of Austrian and EU financial regulation.
As a member of the firm's fintech team, Eva is particularly interested in financial innovation and how technology changes financial services. Based in Vienna, she is also active in the CEE country group.
Eva has been published in a number of legal journals and regularly presents internally and externally on finance and regulatory matters.

Before joining the firm, Eva worked in the European Parliament’s legal service (unit for economic and monetary affairs) in Brussels, the Austrian trade commission in Seoul, an Austria-based bank as well as courts and authorities in Vienna.
