About Samuel Scandola
Samuel is an associate in our Rome antitrust, competition and trade group.
His practice covers a wide range of EU/Italian competition law and regulatory areas, including antitrust investigations, merger control proceedings, DMA, EU antitrust and regulatory litigation, and foreign investment regulation.
Prior to joining Freshfields, he worked as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Trento and as a Blue-Book trainee at the European Commission's DG Competition. He also worked as a legal consultant for an international organisation and for an Italian law firm specialising in corporate and insolvency law.
