Palina advises on all aspects of corporate real estate, in particular disposals and acquisitions on multijurisdictional property investment and co-investment involving complex cross-border structures.

She is also particularly experienced in development matters.

Recent work

• Advising Ares Management Real Estate on its acquisition and financing of a European portfolio of 21 logistics assets from Prologis and subsequent bolt-ons and the sale of the portfolio of 45 logistics properties to Investec.
• Advising Brookfield Asset Management on the acquisition of a 50 per cent stake in Harwell Science and Innovation Campus in Oxfordshire, including an extensive land bank for development.
• Advising Blackstoneon the sale of seven Center Parcs holiday parks in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.
• Advising Brookfield Properties on its acquisition of the remaining 50 per cent interest in One and Two London Wall Place from joint venture partner Oxford Properties.
• Advising Brookfield Asset Management on the acquisition of a controlling stake in International Campus Group, the Germany-based operator, manager and developer of student housing, micro-living and co-working real estate in Europe and on the setting up of a joint venture PRS platform for Europe.
• Advising Almacantar on the pre-let of Two Southbank Place, London Waterloo to WeWork.
• Advising TPG and Ivanhoé Cambridge on the c. €1.6bn refinancing of the P3 Parks business the sale of their interest in P3 Parks for c.€2.4bn.
• Advising Brookfield Properties on the corporate restructure and sale of 20 Canada Square, Canary Wharf for £410m.
• Advising Land Securities on the acquisition of development site 21 Moorfields, London, EC2.
• Advising Citigroup on its senior loan to finance Greystar’s acquisition of Nido student accommodation sites as well as the Assam student accommodation site in central London.
