About Christian Oberkersch
Christian is a Principal Associate and a member of our global transaction group. He specialises in banking and finance law, with a focus on international financial transactions.
He gained work experience in various Austrian law firms during his studies and served his judicial clerkship in Vienna. During his time at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, he was on a client-secondment with an Austrian bank, a "wind-down unit" and spent three weeks on a mini-secondment at the Freshfields office in Amsterdam.
He speaks German and English.
